Trojan Horse

Hi Ken, I was wondering if you're familiar with the Vundo trojan horse?  I've had a number of warnings pop up from AVGFree telling me I'm infected with it.  I've reviewed the post on Symantec's site about it, the link is here: http://www.symantec.com/security_response/writeup.jsp?docid=2004-112210-3747-99

I've run their process twice now, in normal and safe modes.  In normal mode it told me it corrected the problem but then the AVG warnings continued after that so I ran it in safe mode as well.  When I did that it told me the trojan was not found at all.  Seems strange.

Any ideas?

Forgot to mention.  About the same time this all began I started getting a RUNDLL message saying ERROR LOADING C:\Windows\system32\pwyulmkc.dll

Thanks Ken.  I ran the Symantec removal tool again in Safe mode and everything seems to be back to normal, no random pop-ups and no warning from AVG.  I've bookmarked the link you gave me just in case.

Don't forget to pop into game buddy, I haven't seen you in weeks.
