                                          Changing Your Network Card IP Manually


Using Windows XP
Click "Start" then "Control Panel"
In the control panel select and double click "Network Connections"
You should now see a "Local Area Connection" icon.
Right click it...scoll to properties...left click.
You should now be looking at "Local Area Connection Properties"
In the box look for and select "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)" then click "Properties"
On the next page select "Use the following IP address"
then type in the ip you need in the ip address area box (i.e."192.168.2.2")
clcik "OK"

Click "Start" then "Settings" and "Control Panel"
In the control panel select "Network and Dialup Settings"
You should now see a "Local Area Connection"
Right click it...scoll to properties...left click.
You should now be looking at "Local Area Connection Properties"
In the box look for and select "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)" then click "Properties"
On the next page select "Use the following IP address"
then type in the ip you need in the ip address area box (i.e."192.168.2.2")
click "OK"
